Possibilities?
Webcast - The delivery of live or delayed sound or video broadcasts using oinline technologies. The sound or video is captured by conventional video or audio systems. It is then digitized and streamed on a web server.
Webinar - An online seminar. A workshop or lecture delivered over the Web. It's a type of web conference, although the direction of the presentation more often than not is primarily one way from the presenter to the audience as in a Webcast, which is transmission of information in one direction only, like watching a concert on the internet. A webinar however can be designed to be interactive between the presenter and audience. A webinar is 'live' in the sense that information is conveyed according to an agenda, with a starting and ending time.
Webmercial - An online marketing presentation targeted towards the emotional side of the viewer. These presentations are dynamic in nature, including animation, still images, music, voice, and leveraged motion video. Webmercials are similar to television commercials designed for delivery online. Their size is kept small and length normally no more than two minutes.
Podcast - A media file that is distributed over the Internet using syndication feeds, for playback on portable media players and personal computers.
Vcast - (VIDeo podCAST) A video clip designed to be viewed in a portable device. Also called a "vcast" and "videocast," a vidcast is the video counterpart of a podcast and uses the same RSS syndication method for delivering material to users. |
